Wick Reuse

Wick Reuse AG is the umbrella organisation behind the Roto ReUse ecosystem and Wiederverwerkle. Wick Reuse AG is committed to promoting more sustainable resource use, particularly within the construction industry. They promote creativity through the reuse of construction materials. Its vision is to reposition the reuse of construction waste from being an exception to becoming the norm.

Wiederverwerkle fosters a holistic, circular‑economy model: members source materials from disassembly sites, they advise and educate stakeholders in construction, and they sell reclaimed materials at the Roto Baumarkt.

Wiederverwerkle has been an invaluable partner in deconstructing the Huber pavilions and creating the domes, the ReUse pavilion, and circubi with the CEA lab and other partners at ETH Zurich.

Based in Winterthur, Roto’s ReUse Competence Center integrates services such as:

Roto Disassembly — ranging from site surveys, dismantling, cleaning, palletisation, to transport and storage— in order to preserve materials for reuse. Disposal is the last resort.

Roto Education and Workshops — that offer hands‑on learning about material reuse and circular building practices. Workshops, conducted in cooperation with institutions like ETH Zurich, are being made developed to firms, NGOs, and the public.

Roto Projects — bespoke furniture, sustainable building installs or other ideas are planned and built in Roto’s carpentry and metal workshops using rescued materials.
